Considered an icon of the sixties.
It is the most British carriage by far,
Designed by Sir Alec Issigonis

A space saving engine and front wheel drive
meant that passengers could fit their luggage.
Was a good idea, quickly copied.
MINI was manufactured at Longbridge

Plant in Birmingham, England and Oxford
at the former Morris Motors plant at Cowley.
The second most influential car sold,
Behind only Henry Ford’s model T.

MINI was bought by BMW,
In 2000, and now are not as cute.
